Vehicle Servicing

Getting your vehicle serviced is an important part of your vehicles maintenance. You should have your vehicle serviced at regular intervals which you can find in your vehicle handbook, or give us a call and we can advise you.

What's involved in getting my vehicle serviced?

​

The type of service is dependant of the vehicle mileage and the service schedule which you can usually find in your vehicle handbook, this will tell you whether an interim or full service is due. We will change oil and oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and cabin filter dependant on the type of service and we will also check the essential items of your vehicle including, coolant, brake fluid, screen wash, brakes, tyres, exhaust and ensure all lights are working correctly. We can also fit timing belts and water pumps when they are due for renewal. If any additional work is identified during the service we will contact you to discuss faults that have been found. We will then stamp your service book and wash your vehicle ready for you to collect it.

Vehicle Repairs and Diagnostics

We have the latest Bosch Diagnostic Equipment which has been developed to diagnose faults within a wide range of vehicles. Once our mechanics have run the diagnostics software and identified the fault we will then contact you and advise of repair.

MOT Testing

​

We are a registered MOT Test Centre and carry out Class 4 MOT Tests (up to 3,000kg) However we can also carry out pre-mot checks on larger vehicles up to 3,500kg, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What's involved in an MOT Test?

​

Once you have left your vehicle one of our MOT testers will proceed to inspect your vehicle as per the testing guidelines. You will be issued with an MOT test certificate at the end of the test stating whether your vehicle has passed or failed. If your vehicle does fail the MOT test we will discuss the faults found with you and repair options. Below is a brief outline of what's included in your test:
